Satoshi Kon’s Final Message

Satoshi Kon, director of Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika, and the TV series Paranoia Agent, passed away last week, August 24. I didn’t know about it until a few days ago. His works, in my opinion, are some of the greatest and most intelligent anime I’ve ever seen.

He left a final message for his fans on his blog, which was posted by his family the day after he died. Here is an English translation of his message.

You can get the Globe Tattoo MyFi now by signing up for a monthly Globe Tattoo Broadband plan for as low as P499 per month and then choosing to get this router instead of the usual USB stick; the MyFi will cost just an extra P 250 per month for 24 months and will already do double-duty as both your modem and WiFi router. It’s the most affordable share-able postpaid broadband service you’ll find anywhere in the country. Now if you’d rather go prepaid, you can still get the MyFi for a single upfront payment of P 7000 from Globe. And once you’ve got your MyFi, just plug it in and you can surf at speeds up to 3mbps!

iPhone 4 Coffee Table Gets You Better Reception Than iPod Table?

Choices, choices. The latest in Apple-related furniture is a custom made iPhone 4 table. Details on it are scant (OK, it seems the Internets aren’t yielding much of anything other than the photo), but it is a slick piece of design that wouldn’t look out of place in many a living room.
